Thymosin Alpha-1 has been known to be an excellent immune modulator like it’s other derived peptide Thymosin Beta-4.
Thymosin is a small protein produced naturally by the thymus gland which stimulates the development of T cells, the body’s first line of defense that responds to bacteria, fungi, and viruses that invade the body.
It’s been studied in clinical trials since 1985, over 3000 patients from age 0 to 12 months old. It strengthens the immune system, the innate immune system, to increase natural killer cells, cytotoxic T-cells, all of these things that fight viruses, as well as helping with some cytokine profiles too. This peptide treats influenza, hepatitis C, hepatitis B, and malignant melanoma. It allows the immune system to do its job and find the abnormal cells.
