Ipamorelin is a selective GH-Secretagogue and ghrelin receptor agonist. The potency of ghrelin stimulation can be compared to GHRP6 with less appetite stimulation properties. Ipamorelin binds to the ghrelin receptor, GHSR, in the brain selectively stimulating the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland.
Besides the presence in the brain, GHSR can also be found in the gastrointestinal tract, heart, lungs, kidney, pancreas, immune cells, and adipose.
Unlike other GH-Secretagogues this pentapeptide doesn’t release the same volumes of cortisol, prolactin, acetylcholine, and aldosterone. Since Ipamorelin only stimulates GH release, there are minimal unwanted effects compared to other GHRP peptides.

The combination of CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin creates a synergistic increase in growth hormone by hitting 2 different sectors in the pituitary, GH release receptor (CJC) and GH secretagogue receptor (lpamorelin). Secretagogue receptors are found all over the body so this allows for an increased release of stored growth hormone outside of the pituitary gland. Both peptides allow for an increase in HGH with minimal effects on cortisol, prolactin, or aldosterone levels.
